It is the mission of the FIA to promote high standards of service within the fibreoptic industry and to represent its members at a national and international level by:

  • providing specialist information and support services to our membership
  • providing a “shop-window” for our members products and services

In addition the FIA has been directly involved in a huge standardisation effort at UK, European and international level in order that customers and suppliers can enter into contracts with confidence in relation to roles and responsibilities.
