Starting a movement to improve installation standards

At the Summer Seminar 2023, we’ll be holding an open discussion with a panel of industry experts to highlight the biggest issue in the current fibre optics landscape and what can we do to improve it.
Increasingly, fibre installation projects are delayed or disrupted due to a low quality of tube installation. The FIA is committed to helping our members improve standards across the industry with better information sharing and improved access to good professional training.
To kick-start the conversation and encourage action-taking, we've put together a Toolbox Talks document to promote good practice among direct buried tube installers, which will be available for members to download and share with colleagues.
