Keith is a Telecommunications professional with 19 year’s dedication to the communications Industry. He has worked within some of the largest and most successful fibre optic based carriers/operators in the European, US, Middle East and African markets.
He has vast experience in optical fibre design and deployments, specialising in utilising 3rd party infrastructures, such as working with Thames Water in the UK for sewer deployments, Transco for Gas line deployments, BT and BDUK with the “PIA” working group for Infrastructure sharing, EDF Energy for electrical infrastructure deployments and in the African continent, OPGW and ADSS deployments on overhead power lines with ZESA and ZESCO.
He spends a lot of his time with vendors and suppliers in order to tailor and provide guidance on the equipment standards and designs that fit the varying markets being operated in. This includes proposing modifications on products in order to reflect appropriate costing and deployment models which need implementing.
Passionate about ensuring design and deployment standards from developed global markets be shared and implemented in the emerging markets has led to his assignment at Liquid Telecom Group, responsible for the design and deployment across 14 African countries, setting Global standards and specifications which enables cost effective, industry best practice network deployments tailored to the African conditions.
