THE IRRP
The AIS On-line Assistance is available in three separate formats: web-pages FIA
members-only customisable
pdfs ticklists
There are 23 task-specific
ticklists covering hundreds of risk elements in total. Clearly not
all the elements are applicable to each installation.
The ticklists are used
to create the Installation Risk Reduction Profile for each installation
submitted to the FIA under the rules of the AIS. The
IRRP is an information pack based upon the simple completion of
the applicable ticklists and its purpose is to detail how identified
risks have been managed and/or mitigated.
Where the appropriate step to minimise risk have been
applied there is nothing to do except "tick the box".
Where measures have not
been applied to recognise and minimise risk (for any reason including
failures within the customers specification) then additional information
is required to indicate what steps were taken to advise the customer.
There is no standard format
for any supporting information. This minimises the administration
work of the installer in order to meet the needs of the scheme.
The renewal audit examines the statements
made in the IRRP in terms of completeness and accuracy.
